Privacy policy
Short version: the calculators work entirely in your browser. We never receive what you type, we count visits with privacy-friendly analytics, and we don't sell data.

What you type
Salary, hours, W-4 details and every other calculator input stay on your device. The arithmetic runs in your browser; nothing you enter is sent to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone.
What our host sees
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes standard request information - such as IP address, browser type and the page requested - to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this to identify you.
Cookies and analytics
We use DataFast to count visits: which pages are viewed, the site that referred you, and your general location, device and browser type. It sets two first-party cookies (datafast_visitor_id and datafast_session_id) so a returning visitor isn't counted twice. It doesn't see what you type into the calculators and we don't use it to identify you. Our advertising partner uses cookies, as described below.
Advertising
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep the site free. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. How Google uses information from sites that use its services is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. Visitors in U.S. states with privacy laws can use the choices in Google's message or Ads Settings to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.
Ad partners never receive what you type into our calculators - we don't send it anywhere.
If you write to us, we use your email only to reply. Please don't send names, Social Security numbers or account numbers - we don't need them to check a calculation.
Children
The site is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
